FAVORITE COCKTAIL: MANHATTAN
Gina is the founder of Dandelion BevEd, a creative agency producing impactful educational programming for spirits brands, trade, and enthusiasts. She is one of the most trusted voices in spirits education and will be taking you through each ingredient and how they play an integral role in balancing flavor so you never sacrifice complexity.
In 2014, she became a member of the esteemed Diageo Masters of Whisky program and started earning several spirits certifications. She led the team hosting ambassador internships at The George Dickel Distillery and developed a 6-month mentorship to prepare ambassadors for the revered IBD General Certificate of Distillation. She went on to become the U.S. National Ambassador of Lot No. 40 for Corby Spirits and Wine, where she eventually took the role of Trade and Education Manager, leading the trade and educational programming globally on the portfolio. Gina spearheaded the creation of the first-ever certification in Canadian whisky, providing a deep dive into the category. Dandelion BevEd now leads production and business development of the four-week course independently, as well as with partners such as WSET, Lush Life Productions, and Bourbon Women. Gina is also an Educator for the Edinburgh Whisky Academy. Gina and Dandelion BevEd produce a 2-day experience on the newest whiskey category on the market - True Grist: The American Single Malt Experience.

Amie has spent her career guiding the industry on how to create world-class, sophisticated cocktails for the mindful drinker. She is a nationally recognized and decorated bartender, educator, health coach, and industry powerhouse with over 20 years behind the stick. In 2024, Amie was named Bourbon Women’s Bartender of the Year!
Amie is the founder of The Healthtender, President of the Baltimore Bartenders’ Guild, Beverage Director for Camp Runamok, Non-Alcoholic Spirits Judge for the L.A. Spirits Awards, and Safe Bars Trainer.
Amie will be teaching the practical, professional techniques you can use at home immediately and is behind recipe creation for this community.

Such an awesome event... I had so much fun tasting and making cocktails. The different syrups may have been my favorite because I can use them in anything from lemonade to a cocktail. Hard to choose if the honey/rosemary, the black currant, or the mango is my favorite!
'less booze, ALL THE BUZZ!'... was hands-down, one of my favorite events that I've been to... Walking in the set up looked beautiful, and I was even graced with a welcome drink.
Both the event & the space (Fabrik) were amazing! It was so amazing to hear about the concept behind Less Booze, All the Buzz, and the hosts truly knew how to capture their audience. As someone with no bartending experience, I definitely left with a few new tricks up my sleeve and in the know about some new ingredients I never even thought to put into a cocktail before!
Had a great time at this event! We learned how to make 3 different cocktails but with adjusting the original recipe a bit to make it have less ABV...This event was so fun and informative...!
Fabulous event!!!!!!!!! ...Gina and Amie led a really fun and educational cocktail making class! We got to sip ingredients separately and then learn how to put it all together. We made really unique twists on classic cocktails...Such a unique and fun experience!! I'll never forget it!
Now *this* was my kind of Elite event--delicious food, creative cocktails, and an educational presentation. That's my love language... As a former flavor scientist, I have a deep appreciation for the science and creativity behind flavor development, so I genuinely enjoyed hearing them explain how different ingredients work together to create balanced, complex beverages.
This was one of my favorite events so far! The hosts, Gina and Aimee, were so energetic and knowledgeable...The actual experience was SO fun, I've done a few cocktail making classes but I loved the tasting element and how much info is provided on the ingredients and the cocktails themselves. I was also so pumped to learn about low-ABV (but still some alcohol) drinks... I can't wait to explore this more! ...I had a ton of fun and am already looking at the 'less booze, ALL THE BUZZ!' calendar for future events!
